Norma Frances Robinson Ashley, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on January 23, 2025. Norma is survived by her children Robin Thompson (Kevin), Wren Fraser (Christian), and her sister Brenda Jane Freeman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brittany Walden (Jeff), Reagan Ruble (John Forrest), Adam Fraser, and bonus grandchildren Austin and Ian White. Norma was born in Columbia, TN on March 16, 1943, and spent her formative years in Fairfield, TN, graduating from Wartrace High School. She worked at State Farm Insurance, served as a stay-at-home mom, cafeteria manager at Cascade School, and retired from the USDA in 2005 to become a full-time Nana. Norma’s greatest joy came from being a mother and grandmother, and she dedicated herself to ensuring her family was blessed beyond measure. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, shopping, and was a talented seamstress. Norma’s love for horses was passed on to her daughter Wren, and in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to Freedom Reigns Ranch. A celebration of life will be held at The Vaughan Venue on February 2, 2025. Norma will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
