The American Red Cross is urgently appealing to the public to donate blood in order to be prepared to meet the critical needs of patients during emergency situations. Blood donation opportunities are available in our local area on various dates and locations. On Tuesday, May 28th, donors can give blood from 2 to 6 PM at 204 West Commerce Street in Loretto. Another opportunity is on Wednesday from 2 to 6 PM at the Summertown Saddle and Bridle Club located on Highway 20. Additionally, donors can contribute on Thursday from 12:30 to 5:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church on 212 Waterloo Street. To register for a donation slot, individuals can visit the Red Cross Blood website at redcrossblood.org. Your contribution can make a significant impact in saving lives during emergencies.
