In terms of school participation, 239 institutions have signed up to be part of the program. This includes a diverse mix of schools: 20 classified as Category I, 38 as Category II, and a substantial 181 as Category III. When examining the applications by county, Shelby County leads the way with 8,432 submissions, followed by Knox County with 5,189, Hamilton County with 4,710, and Davidson County with 4,039. Other counties showing notable application numbers include Rutherford with 2,302, Williamson with 1,973, Sumner with 1,499, Madison with 1,482, Montgomery with 1,278, and Wilson with 1,282.
Focusing on local areas, both Maury and Lawrence counties have two schools registered for the program. Maury County has received 1,110 applications, while Lawrence County has seen 108 applications. Additionally, Giles County has submitted 37 applications, Marshall County has 69, Lewis County has 20, and Wayne County has recorded 5 applications. However, it is important to note that there are currently no participating schools listed for these latter counties.
