Paul Turner, 79, of Loretto, TN, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. Paul was a dedicated employee of the City of Loretto before retiring, and a devout member of Mary’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Marcus Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Bishop Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Loretto Memorial Chapel.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Melissa Price (Richard) of Loretto, TN; granddaughters, Sarah Salsman (Max) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Emily Price of Loretto, TN; great-grandson, Roman Salsman of Lawrenceburg, TN; nephew, Jeff Turner (Billie) of Loretto, TN; niece, Tami Smith (James) of Athens, AL; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Turner; parents, Ray and Ruby Cole Turner; brothers, Bobby and Glenn Turner; and special friend, Bonnie Weldon.
Paul will be remembered for his service to his country, his dedication to his community, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
