Pauline Williams, age 95 of Holly Creek, TN passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024 at NHC Scott Lawrenceburg TN. She was a native of Wayne County, TN and was united in marriage to Ralph Turner Williams on December 1, 1948 and he preceded her in death September 24, 1998.
Together they owned and operated Williams Grocery on Holly Creek in Iron City, TN. She was a founder and member of Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Iron City TN. She enjoyed reading her Bible, working in her garden and flowers, quilting, knitting, crocheting, selling pies at Holly Creek Fire Department, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends. Other than her husband, Ralph Turner Williams, she was preceded in death by her parents, Erbie K and Pearl Daniel Stooksberry; a daughter, Rita Phillips, three sisters, Lucille Moore, Annie Holden, Clura Richter; 3 brothers; Alivn Stooksberry, Edward Stooksberry, & Terry Stooksberry; She is survived by a son, Stanley (Joann) Williams of Athens, AL; a daughter, Anita Daniel of Smyrna, TN; a son in law, Dennis Phillips of Loretto, TN; a sister, Marjorie Evelyn Stooksberry of Leoma, TN; a brother, Elzie Stooksberry of Trussville, AL; 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, The funeral service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Loretto Memorial Chapel with Camryn Eaton officiating. Burial to follow in Hollis Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Loretto Memorial Chapel. The family would like to give a special thank you to a special granddaughter, Jennifer Carter, and a special niece, Brenda Caperton; Pallbearers will be Mike McWhirter, Johnathan Carter, Nick Farnham, Jason Daniel, Joseph Smith, Nicholas Rohling, Jadon Daniel, & Gavin Carrasquillo; Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Butler, Doug Lee, Barry Butler, & Roger Butler; In lieu of flowers make donations to Williams Chapel Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund, 2871 Railroad Bed Rd. Iron City, TN 38463. Loretto Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
