Peggy Sue Holt

Peggy Sue Holt, 81, of Bunker Hill, passed away on March 27, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Born on July 10, 1943, in Pulaski, TN, to William Wilson and Lila Lee Birdsong Holt, Peggy was a devoted animal lover, with a special fondness for horses, goats, cats, and dogs. She was a cherished member of Young’s Chapel Presbyterian Church and had a deep love for her family.

Peggy dedicated many years of service to the Tennessee Department of Tourism, retiring as a host at the Welcome Center at Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bud Holt, and sister Mildred Ann Martin.

Peggy is survived by her nieces and nephews, Ken Martin (Holly), Kristi Thorpe (Don), Kim Holt (Bud Bolton), and Sheila Johnson, all of Pulaski. Additionally, she is survived by her great nieces and nephews, Jesse Adams, Emily Corum, Christopher and Jeffrey Thorpe, and Keera and Jacob Johnson. Peggy also leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.

At this time, no services are scheduled. Peggy will be remembered for her kind heart, love for animals, and dedication to her community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
