Starting this Wednesday, dairy farmers will have the opportunity to register for the 2024 Dairy Margin Coverage program, a crucial safety net initiative administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. This program aims to assist producers by offering price protection to mitigate the disparities between milk and feed prices. The enrollment period for this year’s program will commence on February 28 and will run through April 29.
