In the month of November, the Pulaski Fire Department was actively engaged in a variety of emergency responses, totaling 86 incidents. Among these, firefighters tackled four structure fires, addressed one grass fire, and managed three incidents involving illegal or trash fires, in addition to overseeing one legal burn.
The department also prioritized safety and preparedness through 55 preplan inspections, ensuring that local structures are ready for any potential emergencies. In their commitment to ongoing professional development, firefighters participated in three training events, enhancing their skills and readiness for various situations. Furthermore, they took part in one public education event, aimed at informing the community about fire safety and prevention.
In addition to these significant incidents, the department responded to a range of other calls. These included two smoke investigations, eight instances of fire or false alarms, and three gas leaks. They also handled two motor vehicle accidents, provided one EMS lift assist, installed one smoke alarm, and offered assistance to a citizen or agency in need. The comprehensive nature of their activities underscores the dedication of the Pulaski Fire Department to the safety and well-being of the community they serve.
