Pulaski Fire Department Releases October Update

In October 2025, the Pulaski Fire Department was actively engaged in a range of incidents and community services. Among their responses, firefighters tackled one structure fire and one vehicle fire, showcasing their readiness to handle emergencies. In addition to these significant incidents, the department conducted an impressive 57 preplan inspections, which are crucial for ensuring safety and preparedness in the community.

The firefighters also took part in two public education events, emphasizing their commitment to community outreach and fire safety awareness. Their response capabilities were tested with two smoke investigations and two gas leak incidents, along with managing eleven fire alarms, which included both actual alarms and false alarms.

Moreover, the department dealt with two motor vehicle accidents, providing assistance where needed. They also installed one smoke alarm, further contributing to the safety of local residents. In addition to these activities, the firefighters offered support to a citizen or agency in need and engaged in six training events to enhance their skills and readiness.

The month also saw two incidents involving illegal burns or trash fires, highlighting the ongoing challenges the department faces. Additionally, they responded to one report of a missing child, demonstrating their role in community safety beyond fire-related incidents. Notably, there were no reports of grass fires, carbon monoxide alarms, motorist assists, weather-related events, public service calls, or standby situations during this period, indicating a relatively stable month for the department in those areas.
