Pulaski Police Department Introduces New Police Chief

The Pulaski Police Department has officially appointed Kenneth Bass as its new Chief of Police. This decision was made during a vote held on Tuesday, April 22nd, where Pulaski Mayor J.J. Brindley, along with the aldermen, endorsed Bass for the position. When asked about his aspirations for this new role, Bass expressed his enthusiasm for modernizing the department and ensuring it evolves with contemporary needs. He emphasized that fostering community involvement and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the department are among his primary objectives.

Current Chief of Police John Dickey will continue to serve in his role until July 8th, at which point Bass will be formally sworn in as the new chief. Notably, this transition will coincide with a significant milestone for Bass, marking 20 years since he first joined the department. We extend our congratulations to him on this new chapter in his career and wish him every success in his leadership of the Pulaski Police Department.
