Pulaski Woman Receives Sentence for TennCare Fraud and Illicit Drug Trafficking

Earlier this month, the Office of Inspector General revealed that 77-year-old Annette Reynolds from Pulaski has been convicted for her involvement in illegal drug sales. Reports from WKSR indicate that Reynolds sold her prescribed Oxycodone on two separate occasions, with the costs covered by her TennCare benefits.

In court, Reynolds entered a guilty plea to two counts of TennCare Fraud, classified as a Class D felony, as well as two counts of selling a Schedule II controlled substance, which is categorized as a Class C felony. As a result of her convictions, she received a sentence that includes one year of house arrest monitored by GPS, followed by an additional nine years of supervised probation under the Tennessee Department of Correction. Furthermore, Reynolds is required to pay court costs along with a total fine amounting to $4,000.

The prosecution of this case was led by District Attorney General Brent Cooper, who was supported by Assistant District Attorney Rebecca S. Parsons in the legal proceedings.
