Robert Lynn “Bobby” Vanderpool

Robert Lynn “Bobby” Vanderpool, 76, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away on December 10th, 2025, at NHC Healthcare in Pulaski. Born on January 11th, 1948, in McMinnville, Tennessee, Bobby was the beloved owner of Zoom Lube in Pulaski. He was a dedicated University of Tennessee fan and had a deep love for sports. Bobby was known for his genuine compassion and willingness to help those in need, often providing automotive services at reduced rates or for free to those who couldn’t afford it. He always showed care and concern for others’ well-being.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dot Davis Vanderpool, and his brother Jimmy Vanderpool, along with his nephew Jimmy Potts. He is survived by his nephew, Knox (Brooke) Vanderpool of Pulaski, Tennessee, and his niece, Stacie Vanderpool Potts of Tullahoma, Tennessee. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Ashton (Jay) Potts Coop, Braxdon Potts, Jett Vanderpool, Rocker Vanderpool, and Stevi James Vanderpool.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Robert Lynn “Bobby” Vanderpool. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
