Ruby Millinea Thigpen, 84, of Killen, passed away on April 14, 2025, at her residence. She was a devoted homemaker and a cherished member of Center Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son Terry Thigpen (Mona), daughters Teresa Balentine (Robbie), and Tammy Cole, as well as her 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Irvin Thigpen, her parents Presley Holden and Matrie Peck Holden, as well as her brothers Walter, James, Edward, Ottis, Nelson, and George, and her sisters Elizabeth and Earline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Greg Dial officiating. Ruby will be laid to rest at Center Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service will be Tyler Thigpen, Blake Balentine, Colby Balentine, Seth Cole, Tyler Young, and Alejandro Johnson.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ruby will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
