Russ McKamey Taken into Custody After Domestic Altercation

Russ Alan McKamey, the proprietor of the notorious haunted attraction known as McKamey Manor, was taken into custody late last week in Lawrence County. The arrest occurred on Friday, following an incident of domestic assault that took place in Summertown. As the investigation unfolded, authorities charged McKamey with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, in addition to one count of rape. The inquiry into the matter is still active and ongoing.

McKamey is well-known as the founder of McKamey Manor, which relocated to Summertown in 2017. Earlier this year, in March, he initiated legal action against the Attorney General of Tennessee, stemming from an investigation concerning the operations of McKamey Manor. The situation continues to develop as law enforcement delves deeper into the allegations against him.
