The Saint Joseph City Council has given the green light for the acquisition and installation of a split heat and air conditioning system for the city’s water and gas department. At present, the facility relies on a wood stove for heating, which prompted council members to consider a more efficient and modern solution. They believe that the new unit will significantly enhance the working conditions for employees. The estimated expenditure for this upgrade is around $3,000.
