In a special session held on Tuesday, officials from the City of Saint Joseph have officially approved the spending plan for the upcoming 2024-25 fiscal year. The commissioners came to a unanimous decision to pass the budget ordinance on its second and final reading.
The approved budget encompasses a variety of expenditures, with the General Fund estimated to total nearly $701,000. Additionally, there are projected expenditures of around $28,000 through the State Street Aid Fund. This financial plan aims to address the city’s various needs and priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
