Sarah Ann Patt Pettus, of Loretto, TN, passed away on April 27, 2024, at NHC Brink, at the age of 92. Sarah Ann was born on November 28, 1931, in Loretto and was a resident there for all of her life. Mother of six, she was married to Eldridge “Pete” Pettus who passed away in 1999. She was the owner and operator of Ann’s Drapery, a Catholic and a life-long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Loretto. Sarah Ann was known for her warm and welcoming nature. Her nephew fondly described her this way, “If there was a world where you picked a person to be your mother (other than your own), I would have picked Aunt Sarah Ann”. The Rosary, visitation and funeral Mass for Sarah Ann will be held on May 18, 2024, at the Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM, visitation will follow until the Mass begins at 12 noon. Burial will be at Loretto Memorial Gardens. Rev. Delphinus Mutajuka and Rev. Joseph Mundakal will co-celebrate the Funeral Mass.
