Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Lawrenceburg is set to host a Community Health Fair and Screening on Saturday, April 13th, running from 6:00 am to 9:00 am. The event will offer a range of free health tests, including blood pressure checks, stroke assessments, and posture and grip strength evaluations. Remke Eye Clinic will also be present to conduct complimentary pressure screenings.
In addition to the free tests, attendees will have the opportunity to opt for a blood chemistry profile and lipid panel for $25, as well as A1C tests for $10 and PSA screenings provided by WLX Radio. Women attending the fair can also register for on-site mammograms. Information on various health topics such as breast cancer, prescriptions, nutrition, rehabilitation services, women’s health, physical and occupational therapy, cardiac awareness, sleep lab services, wound care, and radiology will be available to all participants.
Healthcare providers from the STRHS clinics will be present at the event to interact with attendees. Giveaways and complimentary refreshments will also be offered to those in attendance. The fair will take place at STRHS-Lawrenceburg, located at 1607 South Locust Avenue in Lawrenceburg.
