On July 26th, law enforcement officials from the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant at a residence located on County Road 10 in Cloverdale. The operation was supported by the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team, which successfully entered and secured the property. During the search, authorities discovered approximately 32 grams of methamphetamine, commonly referred to as “ice,” along with marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and various drug paraphernalia.
As a result of the operation, a 69-year-old resident named John Joseph Cabral Jr. from Florence was taken into custody. He now faces multiple charges, including trafficking in methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation highlights ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug-related activities in the area.
