The Grow Family is set to host the 7th Annual Eli Grow Legacy 8K on November 2nd, an event aimed at supporting The Eli Grow Legacy Foundation. This annual race commemorates Eli, who tragically lost his life in a car accident in 2016. Participants interested in joining this meaningful and enjoyable event can register online at https://eligrow.raceroster.com/. On the day of the race, registration will begin at 7:00 a.m., with the official start of the festivities scheduled for 8:00 a.m. at Wilkins Stadium in Tullahoma, Tennessee. For those looking to pick up their race packets early, pre-race packet pickup will take place on November 1st from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Legacy Creamery.
The Eli Grow Foundation was founded by Eli’s family in 2017, inspired by a vision Eli shared just two weeks before his untimely passing. He dreamed of creating a modern indoor athletic facility that would enable local students to enhance their athletic skills. In addition to this goal, the foundation also aims to provide scholarships to deserving students. The Grow family is also behind Legacy Creamery, a beloved establishment in Tullahoma known for its delicious and uniquely flavored gelato. The creamery employs a team of high school and college students who help serve gelato both at their store and at various local and regional events. Remarkably, 100% of the profits generated by the creamery are donated to support the Eli Grow Foundation, ensuring that Eli’s legacy continues to make a positive impact in the community.
