On the evening of Sunday, September 22, 2024, officers from the Muscle Shoals Police Department were dispatched to address a complaint on Tuxedo Avenue. This response led to an incident involving an officer-involved shooting. In accordance with established protocols, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was informed of the situation and subsequently took charge of the investigation. Following standard procedure, the officers involved in the incident have been placed on administrative leave while the inquiry is conducted. Authorities have indicated that further details will be released as they become available through ALEA.
