Sissy Ann Bass, 81, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at NAMC. She was a devoted member of Highland Baptist Church, where she selflessly volunteered in the kitchen every Wednesday. Sissy will be remembered for her kind and giving nature.
She is survived by her son, Jackie Bass (Janie); grandchildren, Chelsie Borden (Justin), Kevin Bass (Bonnie), Daniel Bass, Josh Bass, Ashley Bass, and Courtney Kyle (Dustin); as well as eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Wilburn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Highland Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service officiated by Bro. John Brock. The burial will take place at Hale Cemetery in Killen. Elkins Funeral Home is honored to assist the family during this difficult time.
Pallbearers will include Justin Borden, Lendert Naude, Lynn Bass, Michael Runnels, Bryan Willis, and James Willis, with Dustin Bass and Ray Holt serving as honorary pallbearers.
