On Friday, July 25, 2025, the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) will implement sobriety checkpoints across three counties in Middle Tennessee as part of their ongoing initiative to reduce impaired driving and enhance safety on the roads.
The designated locations for these checkpoints have been carefully selected. In Perry County, the checkpoint will be situated on State Route 13 North, roughly 0.1 miles north of the 29-mile marker. Meanwhile, in Giles County, drivers can expect to encounter a checkpoint on U.S. Highway 31 at the 9.5-mile marker. Lastly, Bedford County will host a checkpoint on State Route 64 East, approximately 0.5 miles east of the 18-mile marker.
Motorists passing through these checkpoints should be prepared for potential short delays. The THP emphasizes the importance of responsible driving, urging all individuals behind the wheel to remain sober, fasten their seatbelts, and make arrangements in advance to prevent any instances of impaired driving.
