Law enforcement officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol have announced plans to conduct sobriety checkpoints in Lawrence County and Lincoln County on June 7. In Lawrence County, the checkpoint will be set up on U.S. Highway 43 South, specifically at the 2.9 mile marker. Meanwhile, in Lincoln County, the checkpoint will be located on Eldad Road, approximately 3/10 of a mile east of Grisham Road.
