In an effort to ensure road safety, the Tennessee Highway Patrol has announced plans to conduct sobriety checkpoints in Lawrence County and Hickman County on Friday, July 12th. The checkpoint in Lawrence County will take place on U.S. Highway 43, specifically at the 2.9 mile marker. Similarly, in Hickman County, the checkpoint will be set up on State Route 7 at the 3 mile marker. These checkpoints are part of the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to crack down on impaired driving and promote responsible behavior on the roads. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and comply with authorities during these checkpoints to ensure a safe and smooth operation.
