Sondra Marie Augustin Methvin, 92, of Loretto, TN, passed away on July 31, 2025, at her residence. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Loretto Lioness Club, and the Wildflower Society.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ray E. Methvin, MD, and her sons: Ray Methvin, Jr. (Mary), Nathan Methvin (Sarah), Jeff Methvin (Susan), and Russell Methvin. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lawren, Will, Connor, Caroline, John, Sam, and Phoebe, as well as her great-grandchildren: Landon, Owen, Courtney, Aggie, Marlowe, and Stella.
Sondra was preceded in death by her parents, Karl J. Augustin and Genevieve Reynolds Augustin, and her brothers, Karl Augustin, Jr, and Kenny Augustin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by a funeral mass at 12:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Daniel J. Steiner. She will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Loretto.
Pallbearers will be: Will Methvin, Connor Methvin, Sam Methvin, John Methvin, Landon Gabel, and Owen Gabel.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Sondra will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
