This weekend, the University of North Alabama is set to host its spring commencement at Norton Auditorium on the UNA campus. The ceremonies will feature Cody Gross, the head football coach at Athens High School and former quarterback for the UNA Lions during the Division II national championship teams from 1992-1995, as the keynote speaker for the Friday ceremonies. On Saturday, Bill Poole, the Director of the Alabama Department of Finance, will deliver the commencement address for the three ceremonies scheduled for the day. It is a time of celebration and reflection for the graduating students as they mark this significant milestone in their academic journey.
