Spring Hill Teens Charged in Pellet Incidents

In a troubling turn of events, two 16-year-olds found themselves in police custody this morning in Spring Hill. They stand accused of aggravated assault following an incident over the weekend where a 44-year-old individual was struck by a projectile from a pellet gun while driving. The unsettling occurrence took place at the intersection of Duplex Road and Hurt Road on Sunday.

Adding to the concern, another incident unfolded on Friday in the Benevento subdivision. Law enforcement officers were called to the scene after a 15-year-old girl was also hit by a pellet gun. In this separate case, a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old have been identified and are facing assault charges in Williamson County Juvenile Court.

Further investigation into both incidents has revealed that the juveniles involved have been utilizing Orbeez guns, which are designed to shoot gel projectiles.
