Steve and Sheila Frisbie have been honored as the Grand Marshals for the upcoming 70th Annual Lawrence County Christmas Parade, scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at 5 p.m. in the heart of downtown Lawrenceburg. This beloved event, organized by the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Loretto Telecom, will embrace the festive theme of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
The Frisbies are celebrated figures in the community, recognized for their extensive contributions and leadership over the years. Steve Frisbie, who founded Frisbie Apothecary, has dedicated over five decades to serving the residents of Lawrence County. Recently, he entrusted the future of his business to pharmacist Sam Smith, marking a significant transition after more than 50 years of commitment to the community. Meanwhile, Sheila Frisbie has also made her mark by establishing and managing Title & Escrow of Lawrence County for over 25 years before her retirement. The legacy of her work continues through her grandson, Ben Wright, and his business partner, Peyton Sockwell, who are now at the helm of the company.
The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce chose the Frisbies as Grand Marshals to honor their lifelong dedication to both local business and community service. The parade is anticipated to draw thousands of attendees, showcasing a vibrant array of marching bands, beautifully decorated floats, and the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus, bringing the festive celebration to a joyful conclusion.
