The Lawrenceburg Fire Department received an emergency call around 1:30 a.m. regarding a fire that had broken out in a detached garage. Firefighters promptly arrived on the scene and were able to bring the situation under control swiftly. However, the fire caused damage to the garage’s attic and affected one room of the main house.
Investigators believe that the fire was likely started by a heat lamp, which raises concerns about safety practices. In light of this incident, fire officials are strongly advising residents to take extra precautions when utilizing outdoor heating devices for animals.
