Law enforcement authorities are reaching out to the public for assistance in locating a wanted individual. The individual in question is 43-year-old Jason William Cromwell, who is facing charges of aggravated statutory rape. The case came to light when Loretto Police received a report on Sunday regarding a statutory rape involving a 14-year-old female juvenile from Kentucky and a local adult male.
Following the initial report, a thorough investigation spanning three days was carried out in collaboration with the 22nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Kentucky State Police. Subsequently, on Wednesday, April 24th, an indictment for aggravated statutory rape was issued by a Lawrence County Grand Jury against Jason Cromwell. In light of these serious allegations, Cromwell has been relieved of his duties as the President of the Loretto Youth Football organization.
The last known sighting of Jason Cromwell was in Lawrenceburg on Wednesday.
