Suspect in Florence Apprehended for Stealing Vehicle and Resisting Authorities

In a recent incident, officers from the Florence Police Department swiftly responded to a call regarding a robbery and theft of a motor vehicle. The suspect, Justin Terry, was apprehended near the police department in the stolen vehicle. Attempting to evade capture, Terry fled from officers in the parking lot and sought refuge in the lobby of the police department, where he proceeded to physically assault Police Chief Ron Taylor.

Despite the chaotic situation, law enforcement officers, along with detectives, managed to detain Terry without any further altercations. Fortunately, there were no significant injuries sustained during the event, and medical attention was deemed unnecessary.

Justin Terry now faces a slew of charges, including robbery in the third degree, theft of property in the first degree, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief in the third degree. The authorities are diligently working to ensure that justice is served in this case.
