Syble Sides Longshore, 83, a beloved resident of Pulaski and Dunlap, TN, passed away on January 1, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 16, 1942, in Pulaski, TN, to Bennie C. and Bythenia Slater Sides. Syble was a devoted member of Good Hope Church in Lawrenceburg and found joy in tending to her flowers and listening to Christian music.
Syble is survived by her husband of 62 years, Albert Longshore, Jr., her children Twana Dara Sorrelle (Creed), Shelley Dawn Iocona (Stephen), and Keegan Lyell Longshore (Cindy), as well as her brother Barry Sides (Anita). She also leaves behind grandchildren Justin Farmer (Kaitlyn), Ben Kelly (Misty), Amanda Solomon (Casey), Bethany Kelly, Brianna Stacey (Gabe), and William Longshore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Bythenia Sides, and her siblings Harley Sides, Deual Sides, Edina Kracher, Viva Parr, Susie Howell, and Gary Sides.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 12-2 pm at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Syble will be laid to rest in Giles Memory Gardens.
Syble will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
