Taylor Brianne Brooks, 31, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025. Born on August 26, 1993, in Murray, Kentucky, Taylor was a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a cowgirl at heart, known for her love of horseback riding and chuckwagon races, where she met her beloved husband, Sherman. Taylor was a talented baker, a devoted Christian, and an active member of her community. Her final act of kindness was giving the gift of life through organ donation.
Taylor is survived by her husband, Sherman Wesley Brooks, and their two sons, Waylon Cutter and Trapper Flint Brooks. She is also survived by her parents, Amy and Chris Phillips, and Tim Armstrong; brothers, Gage and Colby Phillips; sister, Sydney (Blake) McGrew; and a host of extended family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, with visitation scheduled for July 13 and 14, 2025, at Gum Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at Gum Springs Baptist Church on July 14, 2025, with interment to follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund for her sons or the Gum Springs Baptist Church Youth Camp.
Taylor will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
