TBI Launches Investigation into Savannah Hotel Blaze

Last week, a significant fire broke out at the construction site of a new Sleep Inn hotel located at 125 Million Dollar Way in Savannah, Tennessee. The incident occurred just before 5:00 AM on December 11th, prompting a swift response from local authorities. In light of the circumstances surrounding the blaze, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has initiated an inquiry into the event, enlisting the help of various partner agencies.

The investigation involves the Savannah Fire Department, the Savannah Police Department, the Hardin County Fire Department, and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Authorities are particularly interested in gathering information about any individuals who may have been in the vicinity at the time the fire ignited, as there are suspicions regarding its cause.

To aid in the investigation, the TBI is encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward. They can do so by contacting the Tennessee Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017. The hotline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for tips that lead to a resolution in this case.
