Notably, 82 out of the 95 counties in Tennessee reported unemployment rates below 5% during July. In contrast, the remaining 13 counties had rates that were at or exceeded the 5% threshold. Among these counties, Williamson County stood out with the lowest unemployment rate at an impressive 2.5%. Following closely were Lawrence County at 4.5%, while both Maury and Marshall Counties recorded rates of 4.9%. Additionally, Wayne and Giles Counties reported unemployment rates of 4.2%.
