Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission Meeting Postponed to a Later Date

On Thursday, January 9th, the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission held a series of committee meetings as well as its inaugural meeting for the year 2025. This gathering took place at the Lenox Event & Golf Company located in Dyersburg. Initially, the Commission’s January meeting was slated for Friday, January 10th; however, it has now been moved to January 24th. The rescheduled meeting will take place at the TWRA Region II headquarters in Nashville.

During the Thursday session, Dr. Brad Cohen from Tennessee Tech University delivered an annual report on the ongoing mallard research project. This significant study, which focuses on the field research conducted in the state and federal refuges of West Tennessee, is currently in its sixth year of operation.
