Tennessee Highway Patrol to Conduct Checkpoints on December 19

On Friday, December 19, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is set to implement sobriety checkpoints at several key locations throughout the state. These checkpoints are part of an ongoing effort to ensure road safety during the holiday season.

In Giles County, the checkpoint will be positioned on U.S. Highway 31, specifically at mile marker 9.5. Meanwhile, in Lincoln County, officers will be monitoring traffic on Eldad Road, located just 0.3 miles east of Grisham Road. Additionally, Hickman County will see a checkpoint on State Route 48 North at mile marker 26.4.

As the holiday festivities approach, authorities urge all drivers to prioritize safety and remain sober while on the road. This initiative aims to promote a safe driving environment for everyone during this celebratory time of year.
