On Friday, November 14, the Tennessee Highway Patrol will be implementing sobriety checkpoints across several counties in the region. These checkpoints are strategically located to enhance road safety and deter impaired driving. In Giles County, officers will set up on U.S. Highway 31, specifically near the 9.5 mile marker. Meanwhile, in Marshall County, the checkpoint will be positioned on State Route 99 at the 7 mile marker.
Bedford County will see a checkpoint on U.S. 41A North, also known as State Route 16, located approximately nine-tenths of a mile south of the 3 mile marker. Additionally, in Wayne County, the checkpoint will be established on State Route 114 at the boundary with Hardin County. Authorities are reminding all drivers to prioritize safety and adhere to traffic regulations during these enforcement activities.
