Thomas Clinton Tankersley, 77, of Minor Hill, Tennessee, passed away on October 30, 2025, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a proud Vietnam veteran and retired from Delphi Automotive after many years of dedicated service. Thomas was a devoted member of the Booth Chapel Church of Christ. He is survived by his daughters, Jinnie Thornton and Vickie Tidwell, and his son, Ricky Hicks, along with several grandchildren and great-granddaughters. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife, Irma Dell Tankersley, his parents, Guy and Cennie Tankersley, and his sister, Elaine Tankersley. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, followed by burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Thomas will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
