Thomas Earl Tefteller, a beloved veteran of the US Airforce, passed away on March 29th, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on July 14th, 1933, in Florence, Alabama, Thomas was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his passion for painting, model airplanes, writing poems, and creating beautiful drawings for his grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at 1:00pm at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur, Alabama. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Velma Kilburn Tefteller, his wife, Betty Tefteller, and his son, Stephen Wayne Tefteller.
He is survived by his daughters, McKenzie Hogan and Hannah Houser, along with his grandchildren, Cristina and Jennifer Tefteller, and great-grandchildren, Brayton Tefteller and Ethan Whisenant. Thomas is also survived by his life partner, Nyla Bowles of Pulaski, Tennessee.
