He was preceded in death by his parents William Osborne Harwell and Vera Belle (Phillips) Harwell, Brother William Butler (Billy) Harwell, and Sister Mary (Harwell) Brock, surviving siblings include Edith Behel of Nashville, Rebecca (Becky) Harmon of Marietta, GA, and a host of friends that he called family.

Tommy married our Mom, Joyce Faye (Smith) Harwell on August 8, 1959 and she preceded him in death in 2010. Their children included:

Tommy loved his friends and family and enjoyed every minute with them. In his later years he “cut a rug” at the local dance hall where he danced three times a week. He is now reunited with all the loved ones and friends who had gone on before and were awaiting his arrival to heaven.
