Thomas Wayne Glenn, born on December 25, 1951, in Nashville, peacefully passed away at his residence on March 01, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas graduated from Bethesda High School in 1969 and dedicated 32 years of service to the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2011. He also spent 10 years at Murray Ohio and was a dedicated cattle farmer in Summertown.
Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Steven Glenn (Dawn), and daughter, Cherilyn Elaine Glenn, both of Summertown, TN. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Glenn Sutherland (Ronnie), brothers Tommy Glenn, Frank Glenn, Arthur Glenn, Gary Markum, step-mother Geri Glenn, grandchildren Lindsey Glenn, Khierra Mosley, and Shattona Harney, as well as several great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his birth parents, Thomas G. Glenn and Dorothy Rose Jackson, parents Bert and Belle Rose, long-time companion Inez Isbell, brother Larry Glenn, and sisters Roxanne Dunnfield and Carla Glenn.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Compassus Hospice, especially Tommy Cumnings for his exceptional care.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with interment to follow at Summertown Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the Summertown Cemetery Fund.
Thomas Wayne Glenn will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
