THP Requests Public Assistance in Hit-and-Run Incident Resulting in Pedestrian Fatality

Although details surrounding the crash remain limited, authorities are particularly interested in gathering information about a specific vehicle involved in the incident. They are on the lookout for a white or silver truck, specifically a Ford Ranger or Mazda model from the years 2000 to 2010, with an extended cab.

Witnesses reported that this truck was last observed traveling north on U.S. Highway 43, close to Smith Circle, at approximately 2:20 a.m. It is believed that the vehicle may have sustained damage to its front end during the collision.
