Law enforcement officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol have announced plans to conduct sobriety checkpoints on Friday, April 5. The checkpoints will be set up in Giles County on U.S. Highway 31 at the 14 mile marker, as well as in Bedford County on U.S. 41A North, specifically 16.9 miles south of the 3 mile marker. These checkpoints are part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of motorists and prevent incidents of impaired driving on the roadways. Drivers in these areas are advised to exercise caution and comply with all instructions given by law enforcement officers during the checkpoint operations.
