THP to Establish Checkpoints in Gile and Perry Counties

This week, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is set to conduct Sobriety Checkpoints in both Giles and Perry Counties. The checkpoint in Giles County is scheduled for Friday evening, operating from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will be located on Highway 31, specifically at the 9.5 mile marker.

Simultaneously, the Perry County checkpoint will take place on the same night and during the same hours, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. This checkpoint will be positioned on State Route 13 North, just a tenth of a mile north of the 29 mile marker.

These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and deter impaired driving in the region.
