The Tennessee Promise program has been the subject of the latest evaluation by the Tennessee Comptroller, revealing that Promise students are achieving higher rates of credit attainment, retention, and awards compared to non-Promise students at the same institutions. Since its establishment in 2015, the Tennessee Promise has provided over $186 million in scholarships to students attending community colleges and technical schools.
