Tommy Glenn McKee, 80, of Florence, passed away on May 11, 2025, at his residence. He was the owner/operator of Wilson Dam Motors.
Survivors include his companion, friend, and caregiver, Maggie Kilpatrick; brothers Gary McKee (Mary) of Albuquerque, N.M. and Bruce McKee (Bo Hale) of Mountain Brook, AL; sisters Dianne Haas (Ron) of Vestavia, AL and Janice Hendon (Terry) of Florence, AL; inherited children, who called Tommy “Papa”: Tammaca Bevis, Tonya Turpen (Greg), and Benjamin Kilpatrick; his special dog Daisy; several beloved nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Willie “Bill” Buell McKee, and beloved mother, Celestine Jones McKee.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Ian Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers.
