Traffic Stop Results in Drug-Related Arrest in Giles County

On Saturday, July 19, a routine patrol conducted by deputies from the Giles County Sheriff’s Office resulted in a notable drug-related arrest in the southern region of the county. The deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle due to significant safety concerns, which ultimately led to the discovery of over 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine. In addition to the meth, authorities also found suspected marijuana, various items typically associated with drug use, and paraphernalia indicative of drug sales.

As a result of this operation, two individuals, Edward Harney and Estella Clay, were taken into custody on charges stemming from the ongoing investigation.
