On July 15, a routine patrol conducted by deputies from the Giles County Sheriff’s Office resulted in a notable drug-related arrest in the community of Campbellsville. While on patrol, the deputies noticed a vehicle parked outside a local business and decided to approach the individuals inside.
During their investigation, the deputies uncovered a substantial amount of illegal substances, including over 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 15 grams of what is believed to be marijuana. Additionally, they found a Schedule III controlled substance, various drug paraphernalia, and other items typically linked to drug distribution activities.
As a consequence of these findings, two individuals, identified as Austin Burchell Jr. and Jeffrey Gean, were arrested and now face multiple charges related to drug offenses. The Giles County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who may have information regarding drug-related activities or other criminal behavior to reach out to their office.
